At La Tasca we are passionate about our home-cooked Spanish cuisine, prepared by chefs. Tapas and the sharing style of eating, is the perfect solution for a fun, informal celebration giving our guests something completely different from the normal eating out experience. As well as our Main menu we have some fantastic set menus and drink offers available for groups, these are perfect for ordering in advance and each offer a great range of some of our most popular dishes.
La Tasca was also shortlisted for the Menu Innovation Award at the Casual Dining Restaurant Awards 2017.
This came after the main menu underwent a huge revamp in autumn 2016 which saw the introduction of an eye-catching selection of main courses, perfect for those who don’t like sharing.
More recently Glenn our Head of Food Development was awarded the Craft Guild Award for Development Chef of the year.
How we develop our team
Alex – Ops Manager
Alex joined La Tasca as a General Manager and then for a while progressed to supporting the Northern Area as well as running her own site. She is now a fully fledged Operations Manager for La Tasca & La Vina.
Ruth – GM
Ruth joined La Tasca when the branch opened in 2007 in Durham as a waitress. Since returning from maternity leave she then progressed to assistant manager and then after a successful period holding the site she is now running the site as a GM.
Jed – AM
Jed started as a part time host working weekends, he then dabbled in xmas and sales coordinating roles before becoming a supervisor in Liverpool. After that he moved to Manchester as assistant manager. He is currently holding GM at our Deansgate restaurant.
